BBC Radio 4 - Crossing Continents: Ageing without a safety net in Malaysia

In mid July the BBC World News did a documentary on ageing in Malaysia. The chairman for MCOA and president of Third Age Media Association, Mr Cheah Tuck Wing, was asked to coordinate this project by arranging people to be interviewed for their case studies.

The production team was in Malaysia from 16-23 July and they interviewed people who have little retirement savings and facing hardship. These case studies form part of the documentary. The BBC world news have released the radio documentary on 20 Aug 2024.
